The opening day of WIFA Women’s Football League witnessed PIFA rampage against Next Sports Academy followed by an equally poised encounter between Snigmay FC and Pacangan FC.
Sasmita Behera and company from PIFA SC ran riot against Next Sports Academy. There were eight discrete names on the goal sheet from PIFA’s side. Sasmita Behera scored 6 goals in the game and a hat-trick from Akanksha Kandalkar and Pooja Kapate provided PIFA with a dominant start to their campaign.
