Footie First made a big comeback with a 4-0 win over Snigmay FC in the first match of the fifth round. In the second match of the day, Amma FC registered their first win of the campaign by grabbing all 3 points against Pacangan FC.
A determined Footie First entered the pitch to make a comeback after a 1–1 result in the previous match against Kenkre FC, while Snigmay FC went into the match in search of their first win of the campaign. Mumbai’s Footie First threatened the opponent from the very first whistle and created plenty of scoring opportunities and Atisha Saini scored in just the 16th minute of the game. She doubled Footie First’s lead in the 31st minute and they went into the dressing room with a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Footie First dominated the second half as well and Atisha completed her hat-trick in the 52nd minute. In the 69th minute, captain Mamta Kumari scored from the spot to make the scoreline 4-0 in favor of Footie First. Snigmay FC fought hard till the last minute of the game but failed to score. The referee blew the final whistle and Footie First got off to a great start in 2022 with a big win.

In the second game of the day, Satara’s Pacangan FC faced off with Nagpur-based Amma FC. Both teams walk to the field in search of their first win of the campaign. Amma FC drew the first blood when Revati Kokare scored in the 37th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Kumari Shikalgar scored the equalizer for Pacangan FC. The first half ended in a stalemate with a scoreline of 1-1.
Four minutes after the interval, Revati scored once again to give Amma FC a 2-1 lead. Both the teams could not score more goals and Amma FC managed to register their first win of the campaign after the final whistle.
