Renaissance Sports Club claimed the First Division title of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league. They defeated Rehma FC by a 7-6 margin via the sudden death in an engrossing final, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel.
The final ended goalless at the end of regulation period and was extended to the penalty shootout duel.
Earlier in the third place match, Greater Mumbai Police overcame Kenkre FC Under-17 by two goals to one.
Renaissance striker Lordston Soares was later declared the ‘Player of the tournament’.

Third place: Greater Mumbai Police 2 (Sachin Mohite, V Wagh) beat Kenkre FC Under-17 1 (Faizan Thange).
