Maharashtra girls to face Haryana and Sikkim in Group C

After a gruelling 2 week final stage of the trials at Cooperage Football Stadium, the team has finally been selected. The team boasts of 4 players who have had played for India viz. BhagyashreeDalvi, Karen Pias, Aditi Shetty and Zarastyn Mistry.

The team is as follows:

VaishnaviSusar, Nikita Jadhav (Buldhana), VandanaGavli (Jalgaon), Pooja Dhamal, BhagyashreeDalvi, Aditi Shetty, Karen Pais, AnkitaShinde, Zarastyn Mistry (Mumbai), Sasha Pimento Joseph, SmritiRadhakrishnan, Muriel Adam (Pune), AkankshaKandalkar, Shrutilakshmi V K, SejalNakhava, VaishnaviEache, AfreenPeerbhoy, Mamta Acharya, Jyoti Mehra (Thane), Pooja Kapate (Yavatmal).

The Head Coach of the team is the AFC C License holder Ms.DurvaVahia who is being accompanied by Phyiso Jesha Bhatt and Manager Jasmin Mistry.

Goa is hosting the Under 18 Girls Nationals across two venues Raia and Navelim. The team is placed in Group C which will be held at Raia Ground, Madgaon, Goa. The team will first lock horns with Sikkim on 5^th October. Maharashtra will face the girls from Haryana on 9^th Oct.
