Pritesh Lad netted the all-important winning goal in the 49th minute

for I.C. United to lead them to a narrow 1-0 win against Madanpura Under-19 in the Mumbai District Football Association’s (MDFA) Third Division, round-robin semifinal play-off match at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Thursday.

In the earlier game, Deon Pereira’s twin strikes helped Valankani Boys blank Islamic Social Organisation 2-0. Pereira with some fine finishing opened the scoring in the 13th minute and doubled the lead three minutes later.
