In a highly anticipated encounter, Maharashtra faced off against Railways, both entering the game undefeated and without conceding a goal.

Maharashtra’s determination remained evident as they pressed forward. Captain Aishwarya Bhonde connected with Samrudhi in attack, releasing the ball for Sakshi Hiwale, who found herself through on goal. However, Railways goalkeeper Bishnu Mahanta displayed agility, coming off her line to block the shot.
Despite the relentless effort, Maharashtra couldn’t breach the Railways defense, and the game concluded with a 2-0 victory for Railways.
The setback does not dim Maharashtra’s prospects, as their outstanding record of three wins and an impressive goal difference of 31 keeps them firmly in contention for the final round, positioning them as one of the top runners-up.
