Kolhapur based Gadhinglaj United Football Academy won the prestigious
Gargoti Football Association’s Under 18 tournament. Garogotis Khadak Galli team got the runners up award in the The two days Tournament held at Gargoti (Maharashtra).
Other than Amit Jadhav, Chief Organisor and the Secretary of Gargoti Football Associations, the tournament was made successful by Santosh Rajgire, Sachin Nalawade,Ramesh Bote, Paresh Wadekar Sanjay Metal and other Football Lovers and Members of the Organisation. Gargoti Association works for developing the football in rural areas of Maharashtra.
This was the 5th edition of the Tournament where 6 teams participated. Kolhapur based Gadhinglaj United Football academy won the Tournament without conceding a goal. Bhupendra Koli of Gadhinglaj was declared Best Midfielder while Prasanna Prasadi was adjudged Best Defender of the Tournament. After winning the Tournament, Gadhinglaj United Foottball Academy President Prof. Sunil Shintre, Vice President Suresh Kolkai congratulated the team players for this achievement.
