Kapadia Nagar SC cashed in on the brilliant scoring efforts of prolific striker Anas Patel to register a convincing 2-0 victory against Parns FC in a Third Division match of the MDFA (Mumbai District Football Association) League 2013-14, at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Friday evening. Patel produced two clinical strikes to help his club secure a comfortable win and pocket all the three points.
Earlier in another match of the same division, Sagar Mitra Mandal ‘B’ enjoyed a good outing as they registered an identical 2-0 win over a fighting Juhu United ‘B’ to also collect the full three points. Prathamesh Harmalkar and Rony Chavan were on target for the winning side.
