Game one: Ghusalkar stars as Buldana romp past Pusad
Buldana rode on Sakshi Ghusalkar’s hat trick to beat Pusad in the first game of the 2019 Inter-district Championship for Sub-Junior Girls at the PTDSA Ground, Boisar on Wednesday.
The game was a one-sided affair as Buldana was on the offensive from the start. Pusad, on the other hand, wilted in the heat. Goals from Roshani Bansod (20th minute) and Ghusalkar (24th minute) settled the game in the first half.
Ghusalkar scored a third in the 45th minute with a fine effort from the edge of the box. She completed her hattrick in the dying minutes of the game with a simple tap in. Ghusalkar was undoubtedly the player of the game as she tormented Pusad’s defenders with pinpoint passing and finishing.
Game Two: Jalgaon vs Aurangabad, Jalgaon won 6-1. Scorers: Jalgaon — Bula (6th minute), Neha Patil (13th minute), Shital Sahani (25th minute, 31st minute, 45th minute and 49th minute); Aurangabad — Jhanvi (28th minute). Player of the game: Shital Sahani. Game Three: Satara vs Dhule, Satara won 2-0. Scorers: Nazneen Sayyed (37th minute) and Snehal Ghadge (41st minute). Player of the game: Snehal Ghadge.
