It gives us immense pleasure and joy to state that Mr. Kundan Chandra – State Development officer, WIFA has been awarded the AFC A License certificate.
Mr. Kundan Chandra attended the course in March 2014 at Kolkata which was conducted by Mr. Vincent Subramanium from Singapore and Mr. Lim Kim Chon of Malaysia. Out of the 20 candidate who appeared for the course, 11 managed to make the cut.
‘I would first of all like to thank our course instructors Mr. Vincent Subramanium and Mr. Lim Kim Chon who delivered great sessions during the course. Also i would like to thank the WIFA team for being my support system especially Mr. Souter Vaz and Mr. Henry Menezes for helping me during the whole process’, stated an elated Mr. Chandra. ‘I also take this opportunity to thank all the course participants and the Sr. Coaches who have helped me through out my career as a coach and as a player.’
Next stop…?
‘Launching the WIFA’s Grassroots Carnival in the month of September 2014. We have planned something really good for our 150 enthusiastic Grassroots Leaders in Maharashtra. We are also in the process of developing a web based system to aid coaches at all level to log vital coaching data and statistics which will further enable us to guide the coaches in a better way.’
Pro the way to go…?
‘Definitely yes! But I wish to take my time to complete the highest level of certification. Currently I’m on a mission to develop the Grassroots in Maharashtra’, signed off Mr. Kundan Chandra.
