Classic FC struck prime form as they dished out a 3-0 win over Super Soccer School in a Second Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) League – 2012-13, played at the St. Xavier’s Ground, Parel on Sunday. Striker Hammad Ansari netted a brace and Ijaz Shaikh slotted home the third to complete the win.
Earlier in a Third Division encounter, St. Rock SC got the better of Konkan Youth Council by a narrow 2-1 margin. Lawrence Dias and Hassan Abbas were on target for the victors, while Habil Shaikh pulled one back for the losers.
In another match, Melroy Fernandes scored the lone goal as FC Mumbai tamed Peninsula SC 1-0.
