Income Tax were in their elements as they handed Ryan International SC a crushing 5-0 defeat in a Super Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association (MDFA) league, played at the St. Xavier’s ground, Parel on Thursday.
Going on the offensive from the outset, the Taxmen enjoyed total dominance and raced to 4-0 first half lead, before relaxing the pace in the second during which period they added just one goal.
Melwyn Lobo, Anthony D’Souza, Ajay Rane, Bhomeet Vakharia and Clinton Fernandes scored a goal each for the victors.
In the second match, Air India Under-19 rallied to hold Sea View to a 1-1 draw. Prabay Jawali scored for Sea View in the first before Prakash Kahti scored the equalizer in the second.
