A goal each from Faraz Salim and Gullam Mohammed powered Millat FC to

a convincing 2-0 victory over Stallion, Andheri in the Mumbai District Football Association’s (MDFA) Third Division, round-robin play-off match at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel, on Friday.

In the other match of the day, V-Care managed to pull off a 6-4 win via the tie-breaker shootout over Datta Krida Mandal. In regulation play, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Selwyn Pimenta’s 15th minute goal for V-Care was cancelled out by Datta Krida Mandal’s Akshay Nandgaonkar’s goal in the 32nd minute.
